Nyla makes the decision to get back together with Kendrick. Terrance brings in customers to the laundromat through his social media postings. Curtis thinks the children broke model train set.

The family is in an uproar after Ryan tells Joann about some money that one of Ella's contractors found in the laundromat.

After Ella learns that Curtis is trying to repair the Laundromat himself, she makes plans to involve professionals. Later, Kendrick visits Nyla to apologize. Nyla finally comes clean with Ella and has a heart-to- heart with her kids.

Ella confronts Nyla after Lynn has suspicious nightmares. Later, Nyla confronts Kendrick about Lynn's accusations.

Curtis finds in difficult to order laundry items on the computer so asks for Ella's help. But when Ella sees the browser history she gets very upset with her husband.

Nyla's disrespectful behavior is wearing out her welcome at the Payne's house.

Ella and Curtis become more involved with Nyla and her problems. They contemplate letting Nyla and her kids move in. Ella worries how the children are being affected by being homeless.

Ella and Curtis find Nyla hiding at the laundromat with her kids after fleeing her boyfriend's abuse. But Kendrick has been injured and Nyla asks Ella to take the children if she goes to jail.

Curtis and Ella begin to settle in Florida, reacquainting themselves with their cousins. But the house renovations go wrong and Ella becomes concerned when Nyla goes missing.
