The Golden Boy is Tama, He's an All Black and everyone in Crawdon is basking in his reflected glory. Everyone but his older sister; Mitch, who's returned home from Auckland to find that the long shadow Tama casts over Crawdon is a cold place to stand.

Lisa is in a real mood and suspects she might be pregnant. Mitch tries to make amends with Dave and in the process must confront her true feelings, for him and Crawdon.
Lisa tries to cheer up Tama. Mitch gives Dave driving lessons, which goes horribly wrong when they're framed for defacing the Tama statue and end up spending the night in jail.
Lisa tells Tama to break a leg, which he misinterprets as a threat. Mitch and Dave flee the bar and finally spend some quality time together, while Kahu gets in trouble with Derek.
Tama's balls come out of his shorts during a try and the town goes into mourning for his embarrassment, leading to a drink or two and a declaration of love.
Dave discovers and unexpected visitor in his backyard, Mitch gets a big opportunity to submit an article to the News without Pictures magazine.
Mitch decides to get CCTV at the dairy, with embarrassing results. Lisa has a TV interview with Tama in Auckland and goes to Carol and Susan for advice.
The Town must decide whether they'll upgrade the library or erect a statue of Tama. Lisa discovers she may have a genetic link to the infamous Crawdon Hooker and freaks out.
Rugby star Tama endorses his own line of Ghost Vapes and Mitch puts herself out there at a speed dating night.
