Flashbacks show Adam's return to Red Pines set against the backdrop of Willa's secrets and lies; what Adam went through in captivity; and Hank's state of mind while incarcerated. Determined to find the kidnapper, Nina devises a dangerous plan to capture him. Willa struggles with her feelings for Bridey, who reveals the shocking truth of Adam's identity.

Hank is attacked and names a Warren as the prime suspect; Bridey learns the results of the paternity test she ran on Adam; and Adam receives postcards from the pock-marked man. In other events, in the past, John's grief leads to his affair with Nina.
Feathers or Steel
Detective Meyer and Agent Clements go on the hunt for a child kidnapper whose MO is eerily similar to Adam's abductor. Meanwhile, Bridey continues to infiltrate the Warren family, searching for intel on Adam, but arouses Willa's suspicions when she is caught prowling around the house uninvited.
Of Puppies and Monsters
Despite Claire's objections, Adam agrees to return to the bunker to see if anything will trigger his memory, but it becomes evident he is hiding something.
All You See Is Dark
Secrets and suspicions threaten the Warren family, while Detective Myers is determined to correct mistakes of the past.
