Pat gives his blessing to VP Murray, who plans to propose to Eileen. Meanwhile, Kenny and Eileen recognize the progress they've made when they see Allison struggle with her parents; and Shannon and Jimmy find a pregnancy test.
The Real Mr. Nice Guy
VP Murray hires a gay teacher based on Kenny's suggestion, but Kenny has some regrets after the teacher makes life difficult for Jimmy. Meanwhile, Shannon coaches Pat on how to be less of a nice guy, but his personality change is bad timing for Eileen.
The Real Heartbreak
Kenny is heartbroken following his breakup with Brett, so he hangs out with Pat and Jimmy at a Lonely Hearts happy hour and gets attention from the single ladies. Elsewhere, Eileen rejects Valentine's Day customs, but then she has a change of heart.

Shannon selects VP Murray for a special role in her confirmation, leading Eileen to question how quickly her own relationship with Murray is moving. Meanwhile, Brett's declaration of love unnerves Kenny; and an old babysitter makes passes at Pat.
The Real Brother's Keeper
Jimmy wants to teach his younger brother the rite of passage of drinking. When Shannon gets a comp hotel room, Jimmy thinks this is the perfect time to teach Kenny how to drink, but it all goes awry when Kenny invites Brett to join in. Meanwhile, Eileen discovers that Pat has a new girlfriend.

Kenny's jealousy over Brett's relationship with his best girl makes him realize what a bad friend he's been to Allison.

Kenny comes up with a plan to tell his parents he and Brett are a couple, Jimmy's SAT score is remarkably great for Jimmy which means his parents need to keep their promise and buy Jimmy his first car.

Eileen and Pat's divorce papers come through, and Eileen realizes she is free to be with VP Murray, but their attempts are plagued with obstacles that make Eileen doubt her desires. Kenny tries to impress Brett by being a bad boy, and gets a tattoo.
The Real Christmas
In order to win a holiday competition, Eileen gives the coveted Christmas choir solo to their newest member, while Jimmy is tasked with spying on their toughest competitor. Meanwhile, Shannon accidentally gives Pat the wrong impression about a Christmas present she plans on giving to Ethan.
The Real Match
Eileen is about to have a weekend non-sex getaway with the VP while Pat has a back spasm. Kenny joins the wrestling team as a backup but wins his first match. Jimmy gets jealous of Kenny but ends up saving him.
The Real Fit
Pat's brother Dwayne comes to town to help Pat build his new tiny house in the garage. Meanwhile, when Eileen becomes addicted to a CrossFit class she's taking with Kenny, he must find a way to break the cult-like hold it has over her.

Pat and Eileen invite Gloria and VP Murray as their dates to the O'Neals' Thanksgiving dinner, changing their tradition.
The Real Move
When VP Murray starts spending time around the house, Pat realizes it's time to move out. Meanwhile, Eileen starts her new job at Aunt Jodi's salon, and when the kids discover how unhappy their parents were during their 18 years of marriage, they stage a celebratory "divorce ceremony."
The Real Halloween
Eileen's tolerance is tested when she allows Kenny to throw his own Halloween party to stop him from going to Boystown to watch the costume parade.
The Real Dates
Eileen and VP Murray's secret dating life is about to be unraveled, Kenny jumps into the world of gay dating apps but feels discouraged after not getting enough swipes to the right, and Jimmy goes too far to declare his love for Lacey.
The Real Thang
Kenny starts the first LGBT club at school for National Coming Out Day, while Eileen realizes she may have feelings for VP Murray.
