26-year-old Ivy Moxam steps out of an ordinary house, on an ordinary street, on an ordinary day. Ivy hasn't been seen for thirteen years, she was kidnapped in 2003 at the age of thirteen.

Episode 5
Ivy is faced with the prospect of putting her own life at risk in order to save Phoebe. Carne and Merchant try to find a way to ensure her safety but have underestimated Mark White, putting themselves in danger.
Episode 4
Having thrown Angus out Christina briefly turns to headmaster Henry for comfort. Following the discovery of a corpse at the kidnap house the police bring Ivy in for questioning and discover that the dead man is White's half-brother Dylan, a man with learning difficulties who tried to act as Ivy's protector. She is released without charge and Christina takes her husband back. Meanwhile Tim confesses to his wife that he still loves Ivy and Elliott gets a sinister phone call, putting ivy on the spot.

Ivy's attempts to reconnect with her sister are threatened by a mysterious letter that appears to be from Mark White. Carne tries to get Ivy to open up about her captivity. Merchant returns to White's house and makes a shocking discovery.

Ivy chances to trust again only to be betrayed, and the investigation into the missing girl raises more questions about Ivy's time in captivity.
