After the fatal events, Emily does everything possible to find Nick before it's too late. In her search, she gets help from Nick's mysterious informant Kai.

Emily does everything she can to deal with the consequences of her recent actions while suspended. She has the feeling that she can no longer trust anyone and senses danger everywhere.
