Until The End
The end of this turbulent season is only three matches away: two championship matches and one Coppa Italia final, all in the same week. In between, Gianluigi Buffon's final match wearing black and white. Juventus must qualify for the Champions League and win the Coppa Italia, and there's only one way to do this: winning every single match.
A New Juventus
Juventus must focus on the championship, but after the defeat against Benevento the team loses against Milan too. The Serie A win has faded away and the qualification for the Champions League is at danger. In this complex situation, Gigi Buffon announces that he will leave the team at the end of the season. Only a victory against Sassuolo would allow the team to stay in the Champions League race.
New Horizons
Expectations for the Champions League weigh heavy on Juventus. The first leg match against Porto ends in a 2-1 defeat, but Federico Chiesa's score keeps Juventus in the tie. Chiesa scores two other goals in the second leg, but the Portuguese still knock Juventus out in the final minutes of the match. It's a bad blow for Pirlo. In the locker room, Ronaldo and the "Senators" are deeply upset.
Friendship and Rivalry
It's an intense period of games for Juventus, where friendship and rivalry mix. Master Conte beats apprentice Pirlo, who will have to redeem himself in the SuperCoppa Italiana against former teammate Gattuso, now on the bench of Napoli. Juventus beat them, winning the first trophy of the season. As Chiellini is struggling to stay fit, De Ligt has a chance to show what he is capable of.
Leadership
2020 ends the worst possible way for Juventus: Fiorentina steals the black and whites' Christmas with a painful defeat in the final match of the year. But a chance for redemption is just around the corner with the match against leaders Milan, which is especially important for Bonucci, as some Juventus fans are yet to forgive him for his black and red escapade.
Spirit
Juventus face the Champions League second leg match against Barcelona: if they are to beat Messi and his teammates and reach the first position in the group, they need to find unity as a group. Buffon's fitness is essential in order for this to happen, as he is a key figure in bonding the group together.
Young and Old
The season is off to a great start for Juventus and new coach Andrea Pirlo with the victory over Sampdoria, but in order to keep winning, the team needs to find a perfect balance between veterans and younger players. And the new arrivals might just be the ones to determine the Champions League match against Barcelona and the derby match against Torino.
All Change
Juventus embark on a new season of transition under new coach Andrea Pirlo, now reunited with some of the old teammates - Chiellini, Bonucci, Buffon - he brought so much success to the club with. The team is determined to win the Italian Serie A league for the tenth consecutive year, but the championship which is about to start is a competition made even harder by the pandemic.
